Two Ukrainian projects are won by CCCC

Time:2016-05-06 Views:

Recently CHEC has won the bid for Southport Grain Terminal Project and Southport Approach Channel & Turning Area Dredging Project, with a total contract value of USD 61.679 million. This is the debut of Tianjin Dredging in Ukraine, as well as an important step of CCCC Dredging in the European market.

With a total construction period of some 30 months, Southport Grain Terminal Project has an engineering quantity of some 4.4 million cubic meters; Southport Approach Channel & Turning Area Dredging Project has an engineering quantity of some 3.443 million cubic meters. Located on the coast of the Black Sea, Southport is a major port in Ukraine. After its completion, the project will further improve the cargo throughput capacity of the port, boost the local agricultural economy, open a high-efficiency and stable channel to the sea for grain export, and better serve local economic and social development and international water transport trade.

In 2014, Tianjin Dredging undertook Bronka Project in Russia. As the first dredging project of Chinese dredging enterprises in Europe, the project earned high praise from the owner and became a model in CCCC's efforts to implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative. Winning two Southport projects consecutively is another victory of CCCC Dredging in the competition against four major European dredging companies.
